But droopy and weepy, a willow tree
No one seems to notice me hanging around
Need some attention 'fore my leaves turn brown
World in slo-mo as my limbs hang low
Waitin' for a breeze to come and shake my leaves
Been around years, so I do have scars
Touch my bark and give your name a carve

You know that I ain't no good
My roots aren't deep and no one's been collecting my wood
It's a bright, sunny day, come get up under my shade

Growing old on this hill by the road
